Unique silver pendant with carved stone amulet Avalokiteshvara . This heavy pendant is handmade in the old artisanal way by Surja, the only female sculptor in Nepal.
You can wear the pendant, hang it in a special place in your home or place it on your altar. The amulet is very finely carved from Nepalese hardstone and then a silversmith has provided the amulet with a silver edge, also handmade. It is truly a work of art and there is only one copy available.
Avalokiteshvara, Buddha of Compassion and Protector of Tibet (Tibetan name: Chenrezig). Avalokiteshvara represents endless love and compassion. This Buddha is believed to protect from danger, answer prayers, relieve worries and fears, and give positive energy. He holds his first two arms folded over his heart, symbolizing that all Buddhas protect sensitive beings from suffering. In his right hand he holds a crystal rosary. It is said that the Dalai Lama is a reincarnation of Avalokiteshvara.
The mantra of Avalokiteshvara is: "OM MANI PADME HUM". Reciting this mantra is not only good for you but for all beings.
The pendant comes with a beautiful brocade bag in a lokta paper box. The dimensions of this pendant are 5 cm x 4 cm x 1.5 cm (with eyelet the length is 6.4 cm).
