This card is a Fair Trade product. At the foot of the Paardeberg near Cape Town in South Africa is Wyngaardt farm where the Growing Paper team makes special cards and gift cards from handmade paper containing flower seeds. The handmade paper is made from collected waste paper. Large amounts of water are needed to make this paper, so the waste water is reused for the agricultural activities on the farm where Growing Paper is located. When the paper is dry, texts and drawings are applied with environmentally friendly water-based ink. The entire process is done entirely by hand. This card is recycled, sustainable, environmentally friendly and you contribute to the income of the Growing Paper team.
