Tibetan Gau box Ohm XL

Large round Tibetan Gau box of Tibetan silver and brass from Nepal. This prayer box is decorated with the Tibetan symbol Ohm and inlaid with turquoise and red coral. The box can be opened by a lid. Ohm is the symbol for unity.

The pendant measures 7.7 cm x 5 cm x 2.3 cm.

The jewelry from Nepal is not always made completely straight and refined. Tibetan silver is a mix of silver and other metals and therefore somewhat darker in color.
