Candlelight Lotus white

The Lotus white tealight is a tealight holder crafted from Capiz shells with a gold-colored metal rim forged around it. These handmade candle holders hold a tealight, and when lit, a magical glow spreads through the layers of colored lotus petals.

Lotus flower
The lotus flower is considered sacred in Buddhism. It symbolizes purity, beauty, perfection, sweetness of spirit, peace, the sun and moon, the feminine in all things, creative power, and the eternal return of all things. Because the lotus emerges in all its beauty from the muddy, dark depths, it is also considered a way for humans to attain the purity of divine status. The lotus also symbolizes the seven energy centers in the human body, called chakras.

Capiz shells
These are made from the outer layer of a marine mollusk, also known as a window oyster. Capiz shells come from the Philippines and are so called because they were originally harvested from the shallow coastal waters near the city of Capiz, on the island of Panay. Once properly cleaned, these shells are naturally translucent, and when painted with a light, they create a particularly beautiful iridescence.

The tea light holder comes in a sturdy round cardboard box with a description of the chakras in the following languages: Dutch, German, Spanish, English, French and Italian.
