Postcard Medicine Buddha

Postcard "Medicine Buddha" by Tibetan Buddhist Art. Medicine Buddha is the Buddha of Healing and is also called Sangye Menla in Tibetan. On the back is the mantra of the Medicine Buddha and the following English text:

Medicine Buddha - The Healing Master of Lapis Lazuli Radiance. The Medicine Buddha is the embodiment of all the Buddha's healing qualities, associated with healing both physical and mental suffering. In his left hand he holds a begging bowl filled with medicinal nectar and fruit symbolizing his power to conquer diseases and delusions. In his right hand he holds the myrobalan plant (the 'King of medicines') known for its effectiveness in treating both mental and physical illnesses.

Making a connection with him by practicing meditation, reciting his mantra or even just saying his name helps us achieve our potential for ultimate healing.
