Postkaart "Vajra" van Tibetan Buddhist Art. Vajra is de diamanten scepter en wordt in het Tibetaans ook wel Dorje genoemd. Op de achterzijde staat de volgende Engelse tekst:

The vajra is the quintessential symbol of the 'Diamond vehicle' or Vajrayana Buddhist path. When used as a ritual implement (used by Vajrayana practitioners) it is held in the right hand and symbolises powerful and compassionate method. When used in combination with the bell (tib.: ghanta) in the left hand, they represent the perfect union of method and wisdom, male and female.

The vajra essentially symbolises the indestructible state of enlightenment or Buddhahood. When used double (crossed), the vajra represents absolute stability.
