Necklace "Lotus Ohm purple" of Tibetan Buddhist Art. These original necklaces are based on paintings by Carmen Mensink. The lotus flower is considered sacred in Buddhism. It is a symbol of purity, beauty, perfection, sweetness of spirit, peace, the sun and the moon, the feminine in all things, creative power, the eternal return of things. Because the lotus emerges from muddy, dark depths in all her beauty, she is also considered as a possibility for man to attain purity of the divine status.
Ohm (also written as Om or Aum) is a mantra and is the most known and important sound in Hinduism and Buddhism. It is a mystical word and mostly written in the beginning of sacral texts or prayers and stands for invocation, a blessing, a confirmation and a promise.
The pendant is made of metal and plastic on a metal necklace. The length of the necklace is 50 cm and the pendant is 2.8 cm x 2.8 cm x 0.8 cm. The necklaces will be delivered in a dark purple velvet bag.
