Large keepsake locket or gau box from Nepal made of Tibetan silver with the image of Ganesh. In Hinduïsm Ganesh is the god of knowledge and wisdom and is believed to remove obstacles and protects travellers on their journey. The prayer box is inlaid with turquoise and red coral stones. The box can be closed and you can keep something precious in it or for remembrance.
