Tibetan butter lamp made of brass, also called dipa. The light is seen in Buddhism as a phenomenon that fills the entire universe in varying degrees. A butter lamp, the light is the symbol of the ultimate reality and is thus one of the most important offerings in Buddhist rituals. On a Buddhist altar at least one lamp is kept continuously burning.
Offers for light use high quality material such as clarified butter (ghee) to express the importance of sacrifice. Clarified butter or ghee (available in supermarkets), you can burn with the supplied fuses. You can also use the butter lamp with a plain tea candle light.
The dimensions of the lamp are: 10.3 cm x 7.6 cm x 4.5 cm and comes with a beautiful postcard with butter lamps of Dakini. This butter lamp is fairly bought in Nepal.
