Oval pendant with the mantra OMPH in Sanskrit made of Tibetan silver from Nepal. This pendant is inlaid with turquoise and red coloured resin stone and has a filigrain edge. OMPH is the mantra "Om mani padme hum". 

Om mani padme hum is a Buddhist mantra of compassion. It means "Hail to the jewel of the lotus." It is difficult to translate, but approximately it means: we must look within ourselves to find the peace of Buddha, the jewel is in the lotus.

Jewelry from Nepal are not always straight and as fine as our jewelry from Bali. Tibetan silver is a mix of silver and other metals.

The pendant is 3.4 cm x 3 cm x 1 cm (with ring 4.6 cm).
